Susan Laing
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR / OWNER, TEACHER
Susan is the Artistic Director and Owner of Airdrie Dance Academy. She is the head instructor for Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Creative, Contemporary, Boys Only, and Saturday Recreational Classes.
Miss Susan, as she is known by her students, has a beautiful smile and a caring personality.
She is disciplined yet fair. Her students thrive under her instruction and guidance. She has performed in many venues including television, local performances, charity events, theatre productions and even onstage at Disneyland. She has studied with some of the world’s best in Jazz, Tap, Highland, Modern, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and African & Swing. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree-Drama–from the University of Calgary. She was a full Member of the Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance.
September 9th is the start of her 33rd season in Airdrie. She believes in the power of dance.
Natasha Krochak
BALLET, POINTE & LYRICAL
Miss Natasha brings with her over 2 decades of dance experience. Since the age of 3, she has been training in Ballet and Ukrainian dance. She has completed R.A.D ballet exams Primary to Grade 8, as well as vocational exams Intermediate Foundation to Advanced 2. She competed in Ukrainian and regular dance competitions since a young age, and is now a member of the Tryzub Ukrainian Dance Ensemble in Calgary. Miss Natasha has been teaching Ballet, Ukrainian, Pointe and Lyrical for the past 15 years, and has loved every moment. She is a University graduate with a Bachelors in Commerce in Operations Management at the University of Calgary, with a minor in dance. She is a certified instructor with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and has successfully submitted students for their exams.
Leanne Bohnsack
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Leanne is our amazing Executive Assistant. She manages all things in the office and is an invaluable member of our staff. She attends all dance events and competitions. Leanne shares the Airdrie Dance Academy philosophies and Love of Dance. She has worn many hats with our dance family and is knowledgeable in all aspects of running a very successful office/dance program. She is kind and very organized. We are very lucky to have her on our staff!!!
Shirleyan Rozniak
MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
Shirleyan Rozniak is our cleaning angel. She has battled the glitter and sequins for over 25 years. She is also a proud alumni member of our dance family as her daughter took Jazz and Musical theatre with us for 14 years. She takes great pride in her job and loves being a part of our studio.
Tammie Neumiller
DIGITAL DRAGON SLAYER INTERNET SUPPORT & WEBMASTER
Tammie has over 33 years of management, customer service & administrative skills, and over 25 years of internet experience. She has various technical certifications and holds a unique passion for the internet world and finding solutions to online business needs.
Tammie has a love for dance and both of her children are students at Airdrie Dance Academy.

My daughter loved the dance classes ! Such a warm and inviting space. Despite her anxiety and shyness, she really enjoyed everything. She made new friends, sheovercame her shyness and the activities increased her mobility. As well, the recital was a beautiful first for us both, and truly was a confidence building experience !
